Link & Button Tracker
We crawled all 97 pages of hudsonandnine.com and tested every link and button on them, 5,511 in total. This page lists everything that is broken, where to find it, and exactly what it should be changed to. Every item below is clickable, so you can go and see each problem for yourself.
The short version: two buttons on your Corporate Gifting page, including one that says "Work With Us," are wired to nothing at all. A visitor who clicks them stays exactly where they are. Four more buttons and links elsewhere on the site behave the same way. Three links point at pages that no longer exist. You also have three separate About pages live at once, one of which is publicly titled "Company - About Us Forward Link," an internal note that was never replaced.
Separately, and this is the item with the most money attached to it, six of your main pages carry no invitation to get in touch anywhere in the page content itself. Section 5 covers that.
Everything below was verified against your published site on August 16, 2026. Anything we could not confirm is marked as such rather than assumed.
How the buttons on this page work.
See it live ↗ opens the page on your site where the problem is, in a new tab.
Broken link ↗ opens the address the link currently points at, so you can watch it fail. Those are meant to land on an error page. That is the proof.
Copy fix ⧉ copies the corrected address to your clipboard, ready to paste into Squarespace.
Nothing on this page changes your website. Every button here is either a link or a copy to clipboard.
These are styled to look like working buttons. Clicking them produces no result at all. This is the category most likely to be costing you enquiries. Open each page and try the button yourself.
On /corporate-event-gifting
A full width primary button reading "Work With Us." It has no destination attached, so clicking it simply reloads the same page. This is your main conversion button on that page.
Fix: point it at /contact, or at your booking calendar. Currently the button's link field is empty.
On /corporate-event-gifting
Same problem, same page. A primary button reading "Learn more" with no destination attached.
Fix: decide what "Learn more" should open, most likely /capabilities or /work, and set it. The link field is currently empty.
On /design
This button is set to jump to a "commercial" section further down the page. That section does not exist, so the page does not move. Its neighbour, "RESIDENTIAL INTERIORS," is set up correctly and does work. Open both links below and compare: the first jumps, the second does nothing.
Fix: either add the anchor commercial to the commercial section on /design, or repoint the button. It currently targets /design/#commercial.
On /free-a-girl-gala
A link labelled "VIDEO" is set to jump to a video section on the page. No such section exists, so nothing happens.
Fix: add the anchor video to the video block, or link straight to the video. It currently targets #video.
On /centric and /ino-holiday
Both pages carry a small gallery toggle set to jump to a gallery section that is not present on either page. Two separate items, same cause.
Fix: add the anchor gallery to the gallery block on each page, or remove the toggle. Both currently target #gallery.
These do respond to a click. They just deliver the visitor somewhere useless. The dashed buttons below open the broken address so you can see the error page yourself.
On /design
One of the interiors portfolio tiles points at /third-street-audrey. That page does not exist and returns a "page not found" error. Note that a similarly named page, /third-street-modern, does exist and works, so this looks like a typo or a page that was renamed without updating the tile.
Fix: repoint the tile to the correct project page, or restore /third-street-audrey.
On the article "Plan Engaging Corporate Team Building Events NYC With Ease"
The words "companies in NYC" in the body copy link to /company, which does not exist and returns a "page not found" error.
Fix: repoint to /about or /corporate, whichever the sentence is actually referring to.
On /design
A tile points at /interior-design/#commercial. Two things are wrong with it. The /interior-design address is set up as a forward that sends visitors to your homepage, and the "commercial" section it is aiming for does not exist. The result is that someone browsing your interiors work gets dropped back on the homepage with no explanation. Click the middle button below and watch where you end up.
Fix: repoint the tile to the real interiors page, /design. Separately, decide whether the /interior-design forward should still send people to the homepage. Sending an interiors address to a general homepage loses the visitor's intent.
These all reach the right place in the end. They just get there the slow way, by bouncing through an extra hop first. Each hop costs a fraction of a second and weakens the link in the eyes of search engines and AI tools.
In the footer of all 97 pages
Both social icons are written with http:// instead of https://. Every click gets redirected to the secure version before it loads. We confirmed both destination profiles are live and correct.
Fix: change to https://www.instagram.com/hudsonandnine and https://www.facebook.com/hudsonandnine.
On /work
A tile links to https://hudsonandnine.com/cpb-milestone without the "www," which forces a redirect. It should be a plain internal link in the first place, not a full web address.
Fix: change to /cpb-milestone.
On the article "How An Immersive Gala Experience Helped Best Friends Animal Society Raise $1.6 Million"
The words "Contact Hudson & Nine" link to https://hudsonandnine.com without the "www," so it redirects. It also sends readers to the homepage rather than the contact page, which is probably not what the sentence intends.
Fix: change to /contact.
Site settings, URL forwarding
The forward set up for /interior-design sends visitors to http://www.hudsonandnine.com/, using the insecure prefix. That triggers a second redirect on top of the first, so anyone using that address goes through two hops before landing.
Fix: update the forward to use https://, and reconsider the destination as noted in section 2.
On 2 blog pages
The studio address links to Google Maps, but the suite number "#1201" is being read by the browser as a page marker rather than as part of the address. Everything from the "#" onward is discarded before the request reaches Google, so the map only receives "BRYANT PARK OFFICE, 10 E. 39th St." and never sees the suite, the city, or the postcode. The link also uses the insecure prefix. Open the two map buttons below and compare what each one finds.
Fix: replace with a properly encoded secure link.
Not costing you enquiries today, but each one is a small, cheap fix worth folding into the same pass. Two of these are more serious than the label suggests, and are marked accordingly.
In the footer of all 97 pages
The number is linked as tel:6468080358. Without the country code, some mobile phones and international callers fail to dial it correctly.
Fix: change to tel:+16468080358. The number shown on the page can stay as it reads now.
In the footer of all 97 pages
There is a link to your About page in the footer with no text attached to it, only an image. Screen readers announce nothing, and AI tools reading your site get no signal about what the page contains. Given that the founder bio on /about is a piece we deliberately built up this summer, it is worth labelling.
Fix: add descriptive text or an image description, for example "About Hudson & Nine."
On two 2018 wedding posts
Both link out to eHow videos that have since been taken down and now return errors. These are old wedding posts, so the simplest answer may be to remove the links.
Fix: remove both links, or replace with a live source.
On /corporate-event-gifting and in the footer sitewide
Three booking links end in ?month=2025-05, a leftover from when they were first created. We tested all three and they open your booking calendar correctly, so nothing is broken here. It is untidy rather than harmful, and worth removing while someone is in there.
Fix: trim everything from ?month= onward.
Site settings
This is a repeat of an issue we flagged on August 8 and it remains unfixed. The sitemap is the file that tells search engines and AI tools which pages you have. Yours lists 223 addresses. Your homepage is not among them, and neither are the five pages you actually sell from: Corporate, Non Profit, Weddings, Celebrations and Corporate Gifting. Work, About, Capabilities, Contact and Design are listed, so this is not a case of the file being empty. It is specifically your revenue pages and your homepage that are missing from the one file that exists to announce them.
Fix: regenerate the sitemap so it includes the homepage and the five service pages, then resubmit it in Google Search Console. Worth confirming what caused the omission, since an earlier fix on July 16 was undone.
At /about, /about-us and /about-founder
You have three separate About pages live, all listed in your sitemap, all telling search engines they are the definitive version. Only /about can be reached by clicking through the site. The other two are unreachable by a visitor but fully visible to Google and to AI tools.
/about-founder is a near copy of /about and carries the exact same page title, so the two compete directly. /about-us carries older positioning copy that no longer matches how you describe the business, and its public page title currently reads "Company - About Us Forward Link," which is an internal working note that was never replaced. Open the third link below and look at the browser tab.
Fix: decide which page is the real one, almost certainly /about given the founder bio we published there on August 9. Then forward the other two to it and remove them from the sitemap. At minimum, replace the "Forward Link" title immediately.
Sitewide
Of the 223 addresses in your sitemap, 137 have no link pointing to them from anywhere on the site. Most are old galleries and superseded project pages such as /home-1, /projects and various gallery addresses. They are not broken, but they are dead weight, and they are the reason your sitemap is full while your main pages are missing from it.
Fix: handle alongside the sitemap rebuild above. Decide which old galleries are still wanted, link to those properly, and retire the rest.
Not a broken link. A missing one, on the pages where it matters most.
On /corporate, /non-profit, /weddings, /celebrations, /capabilities and /about
We checked the content of each of these pages for any link to your contact page, your booking calendar, or your email address. There are none. Your Corporate page runs to roughly 1,256 words and your Non Profit page to roughly 1,161, both of them strong, and neither one closes with an invitation to do anything.
A visitor who reaches the bottom of your Corporate page has two options: notice "Contact Us" up in the navigation, or find the booking links in the footer. Every one of these pages is a place where someone has just finished reading about exactly the service they need. That is the moment to ask. Open any of them below and scroll to the bottom.
Fix: add one clear booking or contact button at the end of each of the six pages, worded for that specific service. Your Corporate Gifting page already has this pattern with "BOOK A CALL TO DISCUSS YOUR PROJECT," so there is an in house example to copy. We can draft the wording for each page on request.
Recorded so that the list above is read in proportion. The great majority of the site is fine.
| Checked | Result |
|---|---|
| Pages crawled | 97, reached by following every link from the homepage |
| Links and buttons tested | 5,511 across those pages |
| Unique destinations verified | 528 |
| "Contact Us" in the navigation | Working on all 97 pages. Try it |
| Your two booking calendar links | Both open correctly. Events, Interiors |
| Address without "www" and insecure address | Both forward correctly. Try it |
| Facebook and SmugMug links | Both live, opened and confirmed in a browser. Facebook, SmugMug |
| Instagram and Vimeo links | Both respond correctly. Instagram, Vimeo |
| Portfolio and gallery pages | All reachable, no errors found |
Send this link to whoever is making the changes. Every item names the page it is on, describes what a visitor experiences, and states what the link should be changed to, so none of it needs interpreting. The buttons on each item open the exact page in question, so nothing here has to be taken on trust.
When they tell you the work is done, tell us and we will re crawl the site. This same page updates in place, at the same address, with each item marked either fixed and verified, or still broken. You will not have to take anyone's word for it.
One caution. Six of these items sit in your site's footer and appear on all 97 pages. Those are single edits in one place, not 97 separate ones. If anyone quotes this back to you as ninety seven fixes, it is six.
